Wolves boss Vitor Pereira hopes that Matheus Cunha will stay with the club – but admits the forward could get “opportunities” to move away from Molineux in the future.
Cunha got a goal and an assist against Manchester United (https://t.me/ManchesterUnited) in Wolves’ 2-0 win over Ruben Amorim’s side on Boxing Day – to make it 14 goal involvements in 18 matches this season.
Before the game, newspaper reports linked Cunha with a
January move to Arsenal.
“I hope that he stays with us for a long time but I understand that a special player will have opportunities for sure in his career,” said the Portuguese boss of Cunha.
